Modular compositions of generated geometry and applied material.
Greimer Art is a project in geometric abstraction. The key form is the polygon in all its variety of shape, size and orientation. Polygons are combined to create unity and tension - managed asymmetry. Material textures, softened edges and muted palettes complicate the geometry and add a lyrical undertow to the structural compositions.
The works are created through a hybrid process of digital generation, analogue material-making and curation. AI generates the source images containing the geometry; painted material - acrylic, charcoal and ink - is applied computationally; and images are selected for the final modular composition.
